The top of the list is dominated by some of the greats of Pakistan cricket, but partly due to Pakistan’s comparatively recent introduction to Test cricket – they became the seventh Test nation in 1952, 75 years after the first Test match in 1877 – some players who you would be hard-pressed to describe as having successful Test careers, feature lower down the list.
