Anil Kumble, the third-highest wicket taker in Test cricket with 619 scalps had the better of the best of batsmen with his unique bowling style. Of the 30 names in this list, nine are from Australia, arguably the best Test side during his playing career, followed by eight from arch-rivals Pakistan.

While it’s a list largely comprising of some world-class batters, it also features a few tailenders who found the quickish leg-breaks too hot to handle.
