IPL 2024 has started on March 22: here’s where you can watch IPL 2024 live in Canada, including TV channel details, live streaming options, and match timings.

The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League has kicked off with defending champions winning the season opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who replaced MS Dhoni as the new CSK skipper, a day before the start of the tournament, impressed everybody with his bowling changes on his IPL captaincy debut.

IPL 2024: Schedule & format

Currently, fixtures have been announced for only the first 21 games of the season due to the general elections in India. The rest of the schedule will be announced soon.

The ten teams are divided into two groups of five each with each team in a group playing each other once, while playing teams from the other group twice.

The group divisions are as follows:

Group A: Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants

Group B: Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans

The IPL 2024 match timings in the six time zones currently in use in Canada are as follows:

Newfoundland Daylight Time (UTC -2:30): 7:30am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 11:30am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
Atlantic Daylight Time (UTC -3): 7am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 11am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
Central Daylight Time (UTC -5): 5am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 9am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
Central Standard Time (UTC -6): 4am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 8am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
Mountain Daylight Time (UTC -6): 4am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 8am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
Pacific Daylight Time (UTC -2:30): 7:30am for 3:30pm (local time) matches, 11:30am for 7:30pm (local time) matches
