Andhra captain Vamsi Krishna won the toss and opted to bat at the YS Raja Reddy ACA Cricket Stadium. Opening batting, wicketkeeper Vamshhi Krrishna (not to be confused with his captain) top-scored with a 66-ball 110 that included nine fours and 10 sixes.

Six of Vamshhi’s sixes came in the same over, off Damandeep Singh. He slog-swept the first ball, then lofted the next two balls over the bowler and mid-on to reach his fifty.

When he slog-swept the fourth and fifth balls over the line as well, Damandeep pitched short; this, Vamshhi hit for a six off the back foot, over mid wicket, and gestured with his bat at Damandeep.

With Vamsi (55), Dharani Kumar (81), and Venkata Rahul (66 not out) also making fifties, Andhra posted 378. For Railways, SR Kumar claimed 3-37 and MD Jaiswal 3-72.

Railways became 20-2 in response before Ansh Yadav (268) and Ravi Singh (258) added 420 for the third wicket. Anchit Yadav slammed 133 and Toufik Uddin 87, and the match fizzled out to a draw as they finished on a gargantuan 865-9. Two Andhra bowlers, Vasu and Tripurana Vijay, conceded over 200 runs.
