Virat Kohli reveals birth of second child on social media, requests privacy
Virat Kohli has revealed that his wife Anushka Sharma has given birth to his second child in posts on social media.
Kohli sat out the ongoing India-England Test series for personal reasons, and has since revealed a new addition to his family.
“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world!” a graphic posted on Kohli’s personal social media handles read.
“We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time.”

Kohli has taken paternity leave before, missing the last three Tests of the 2021/22 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
He has received tributes and congratulations from throughout the cricketing world for the news.
