The 18th edition of the Dy Patil T20 Cup began on February 26 and will continue till March 9. The 16 participating teams are divided into four groups, with every side playing three games in a round-robin format to determine the top two sides in each group.
The qualifying teams will reach the knockouts, starting with eight teams playing in the quarterfinals on March 7 followed by the semi-finals and the final on March 9.
Three stadiums – DY Patil University Ground, DY Patil Stadium, and DY Patil, Talegaon – will host the entire competition.

Group A: Reliance, BPCL, Central Railway, Jain Irrigation
Group B: Reserve Bank of India (RBI), DY Patil Blue, Route Mobile, Tata SC
Group C: Canara Bank, DY Patil Red, Bank of Baroda, Income Tax
Group D: Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), Indian Oil, Nirlon SC, Mumbai Customs
Various Indian cricket stars like Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan, Tilak Varma, Nehal Wadhera, Sandeep Sharma, Dinesh Karthik and Piyush Chawla are likely to play in the competition alongside several local players.
During the curtain-raiser match, Hardik Pandya led Reliance 1 to an eight-wicket victory over BPCL, captained by Sandeep Sharma. On his return from an ankle injury sustained during World Cup 2023, Pandya scalped two wickets and scored valuable runs in his team’s victory.
