Former Yorkshire cricketer Azeem Rafiq is to give evidence to a Digital Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) select committee meeting on Tuesday November 16.
In September, Yorkshire announced that Rafiq was found to have been the victim of “racial harassment and bullying” while a player at the club.
Rafiq, 30, played for the club in two spells from 2008 to 2018. As a youngster, he captained England’s Under-19 team, leading a side which featured Joe Root, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes.
