Mumbai Indians will clash with Delhi Capitals in the final of the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League. Here is where you can watch the WPL final live, including TV listing and live streaming details.
Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals have been the two dominant sides for most of the WPL, and will lock horns in the final. Mumbai will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, while Delhi will be captained by Meg Lanning.
Both teams have several champion cricketers in their ranks. While Mumbai Indians can call upon the likes of Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews, Issy Wong, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Pooja Vastrakar and skipper Kaur, Delhi Capitals have players of the ilk of Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues, Jess Jonassen, Marizanne Kapp, Shafali Verma and Lanning.
These sides have met each other twice already this season. Mumbai won the first encounter, with Delhi winning the other game. The stakes are much higher this time and it would be interesting to see which team holds their nerve under pressure better.
Delhi finished the group stages at the top of the table and earned direct entry into the final, whereas Mumbai had to get the better of the UP Warriorz in the Eliminator to book their spot in the summit clash. The final is slated to be held at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, and will start at 7:30pm IST (2pm GMT).
