The World Championship of Legends will be played between July 3 and 13 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Northampton Stadium in England. Legendary Cricketers of yesteryears will feature in the tournament, evoking memories of nostalgia.

The tournament will see six teams – England Champions, India Champions, Australia Champions, Pakistan Champions, West Indies Champions and South Africa Champions – participate in a single round-robin format across 18 matches.

WCL 2024: Which players will be seen in action?

Some familiar former international stars include Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Brett Lee, Aaron Finch, Daren Sammy, Shahid Afridi, Dale Steyn and Kevin Pietersen, among many others.

In another nostalgic twist, the competition will see the return of the bowl-out format to decide a winner in case of a tie, contrary to the current Super Overs format in place.
