The upcoming edition of the Women’s World Cup, from March 4, will feature eight teams — here’s where you can watch the event on TV with live streaming details of CWC 2022.
All teams will take part in a single-league format, where they play the other side once before the top four advances to the semifinals. The Women’s World Cup will be played in New Zealand, with six cities hosting the games: Christchurch, Auckland, Mount Maunganui, Hamilton, Wellington and Dunedin.
Australia, are the most successful side in the event, winning six trophies thus far, with their last win coming back in 2013. England are the second-successful team, with four titles, including the win in 2017 when they had defeated India in the final. Of the eight sides, India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies are yet to win the trophy even once, while this will be Bangladesh’s first appearance in the tournament.
The event begins with New Zealand taking on West Indies on March 4 at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, while India begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on March 6. England play their opener against Australia on March 5.
