Sri Lanka host India and South Africa in a tri-nation series, kicking off preparations for the Women’s ODI World Cup, which is just five months away. Here's a guide to where you can watch the SL vs IND vs SA Women tri-series live across TV and digital platforms.
This series serves as preparation of sorts for the Women’s ODI World Cup later this year, which will be held in India.
India's players have recent game time from the WPL and are on a six-match ODI winning streak, though this came against non-World Cup participants, Ireland and the West Indies.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, missed out on the 2022 edition but secured automatic World Cup qualification this time. Their recent form, however, has been patchy, having lost their last two series against Ireland and New Zealand. With this tri-series being their final competitive action before the mega event, they will look to turn things around.
For South Africa, World Cups and heartbreaks have become a familiar story. They came agonizingly close to winning the 2024 T20 World Cup but fell short against New Zealand in the final. Their hunt for that elusive first major trophy continues. Their form against England in last year's home series was inconsistent, managing just one win across seven matches in all formats.
When and where will the SL vs IND vs SA Women tri-series be played?
The series consists of seven women's ODIs, including the final. All of them will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India face off against hosts Sri Lanka in the opener on Sunday (April 27), while the final is on May 11.
