The men’s tournament had started on August 3, a week before the women’s games are to get underway in The Hundred, the delay caused due to the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The competition will begin with Oval Invincibles, the defending champions, taking on Northern Superchargers in the opening game at the Kennington Oval.

This year, stars such as Smriti Mandhana, Alyssa Healy, Suzie Bates and Meg Lanning will be seen in action. Each squad has allowed four overseas players in the side.
