Vote for what you think were the standout performers and performances of the last 10 years, as Wisden’s decade in review series launches.
Wisden’s decade in review series is brought to you in association with Perry, designers of distinctive club blazers made in Yorkshire since 1946
On Wednesday, December 4, the first article in Wisden’s decade in review series will be published. A belter it is too, Wisden Cricket Monthly editor-in-chief Phil Walker on what an extensive panel of writers and broadcasters voted as the fifth best women’s innings of the last 10 years – no spoilers.
Over the course of the three or so weeks leading up to Christmas, we’ll reveal the best knocks and spells – in a single innings by a single player since January 1, 2010 if you were wondering on the fine print – from across men’s and women’s international cricket, announce our five cricketers of the decade, and hash out our teams of the decade on a series of podcasts. There will also be a selection of extracts from this month’s Wisden Cricket Monthly ‘Stories of the decade’, picking out the days some of the themes of a 10 year-period which has surely seen cricket’s landscape change more than any other.
But first, it’s over to you. We’d like to hear your nominations for the best of the last 3,623 days or so, and after we’ve shown you ours, we’ll take a look at yours.
