The newest T20 franchise league in India, the Madhya Pradesh League, is all set to get underway from June 15. Here's all the information on how to catch the live broadcast of the competition.

This league follows the path of franchise leagues opened up by the likes of the Tamil Nadu Premier League, Maharashtra Premier League and Chhatisgarh Premier League. Organised by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (under the authority of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association), the league's mission statement is "to unearth new talents from the state".

Madhya Pradesh has produced a few notable players who have excelled in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and in national team colours. Venkatesh Iyer, Rajat Patidar and Avesh Khan have gone on to represent India, with the likes of Kuldeep Sen, Arshad Khan and Kumar Kartikeya all impressing in the IPL.

The inaugural season of the league will feature five teams; Gwalior Cheetahs (captained by Venkatesh Iyer), Rewa Jaguars (Himanshu Mantri), Malwa Panthers (Rajat Patidar), Bhopal Leopards (Arshad Khan) and Jabalpur Lions (Saransh Jain). The league stage will take place from June 15-21, with the two knockout matches (eliminator and final) taking place on June 22 and 23. All matches are set to be played at the MPCA International Stadium in Gwalior.
