Unmukt Chand vows to come back stronger
Unmukt Chand posted a heartfelt message after his side, Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR), failed to qualify for the knockouts for a second straight year in the MLC. The former India Under-19 captain, who moved to the USA in 2021, hoping to revive his international career, showed glimpses of brilliance in the tournament with two match-winning knocks – 68 off 45 balls against Texas Super Kings and a 47-ball 62 against Seattle Orcas.
Put my best foot forward but couldn’t cross the line. Will come back stronger next year. Thank you to the entire @LA_KnightRiders team and support staff and to the fans who have been constantly supporting and choose to look at the brighter side ❤️ #knightriders @MLCricket pic.twitter.com/XW9ESvpml8
