The series will be played at Antigua, Barbados and Grenada.

The two teams last faced off in 2020. While West Indies managed to win the first game, England won the series 2-1.

This will be the inaugural Richards-Botham Trophy. The two sides previously contested for the Wisden Trophy.

This series was preceded by a five-game T20I series which was won 3-2 by West Indies. The first Test of the series, ended in a draw.
