West Indies’ three-match T20I series with New Zealand will kick off later this month – here are their squads for that series and the two Tests that will follow.
The tour of New Zealand marks West Indies’ first assignment since their three Tests against England in July.
The three-match T20I series will get underway on November 27 at Eden Park. Kieron Pollard – fresh off winning the IPL with Mumbai Indians – will lead that side, with Nicholas Pooran serving as his deputy. Experienced all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was named in West Indies’ original T20I squad but was ruled out with a groin injury. Romario Shepherd was named as his replacement.
Jason Holder will then take the reins for the two Tests – the first will begin at Seddon Park on December 3 – with off-spinning all-rounder Roston Chase the vice-captain in the longest form. A number of reserves have also been named alongside the Test squad: Nkrumah Boner, Joshua Da Silva, Preston McSween, Shayne Moseley, Raymon Reifer and Jayden Seales.
