Virat Kohli was left looking somewhat perplexed after Moeen Ali bowled him through the gate on the opening day of the second Test between England and India.
The India captain was dismissed for a duck to silence the home crowd, and slow to walk off as England celebrated their third wicket of the morning.
The batsman’s initial reaction to being removed was eerily similar to when he was bowled by Adil Rashid in an ODI in 2018, a point picked up on social media.

On that occasion, there was no doubt that Kohli was out, with Rashid bowling a fizzing leg-break to rattle the stumps.
