Watch: On what was a solid day of Test cricket for Bangladesh, New Zealand had limited moments of joy on the field, one of which was Trent Boult’s searing yorker to send back Mushfiqur Rahim on day three of the Mount Maunganui Test.

Mushfiqur was one of Boult’s three victims, and one of only two batters alongside Shadman Islam to have been dismissed without scoring a half-century in Bangladesh’s innings so far.

The former Bangladesh skipper had built a small partnership alongside Mominul Haque, when Boult tested him from round the wicket, slipping in a yorker. The 130.5 kph delivery, bowled from wide of the crease, darted in from an angle, straightening up as Mushfiqur tried to go for a flick.

From Mushfiqur’s dismissal at 203-4, Bangladesh recovered to end the day on 401-6, with Liton Das combining with Haque to steer the innings forward.
