The Australian Test skipper turned his arm over for his club side on Monday – and even made a breakthrough.
Bowling for University of Tasmania CC against North Hobart CC in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League Kookaburra Cup final, Paine went around the wicket with some off-spin to end a 114-run partnership.
Before that, he even opened the bowling, eventually finishing with figures of 1-60 from his 10 overs.
