The peculiar dismissal occurred in the third T20I between West Indies and Australia when Aaron Finch lofted Hayden Walsh Jr towards the long-on boundary. Bravo, manning the ropes, got underneath the ball, with Allen crossing him as he attempted the catch. However, the ball slipped out of his hands, but Bravo still managed to kick it towards his teammate who had already crossed him.
Allen then completed an incredible acrobatic one-handed catch, snatching the offering off the rebound by diving to his left side while still being off-balance.
Helped partly by the catch, and riding on Chris Gayle’s 38-ball 67, West Indies completed a 3-0 lead over the hosts, with two T20Is to go.
