Watch: Shoaib Akhtar returned to the park and was seen having a bowl in a video posted by the former Pakistan speedster on his social media accounts.

Akhtar, one of the quickest bowlers the game has ever seen, was filmed bowling a delivery at a ground in Islamabad and even managed to go up for an LBW appeal that proved unsuccessful.

The fast bowler, who took more than 400 wickets for Pakistan after his debut in 1997, brought an end to his international career after the 2011 World Cup. He still holds the record for the fastest recorded delivery, clocking 100.2mph against England at the 2003 World Cup.

“It was fun bending the back after a long time at this beautiful new ground at the Islamabad Club.,” wrote Akhtar in his social media post.
