Scott Boland’s incredible second-innings record continued as he claimed the wicket of Kyle Verreynne.

Boland struck to leave South Africa even further in the mire as they fell to 48-5 after being bowled out for 152 in the first-innings.
Verreynne had been the hero of South Africa’s first innings with a battling 64, but he was helpless in the face of Boland as the Aussie seamer got one to nip away to remove the wicket-keeper batter for a two-ball duck.
Boland’s record in the second innings of Tests is scarcely believable. He averages an incredible 5.00 with the ball. He has taken 17 wickets in just 58 overs and conceded only 85 runs.
By comparison, his first innings record is far inferior but still excellent by any normal standards, as he has taken eight wickets at an average of 21.75.
