Tendulkar, getting into the groove ahead of the game, looked in pristine touch in the nets. In a video that surfaced of him practicing two days before the match, Tendulkar can be seen flicking and driving two deliveries from almost exactly the same spot, a quality he was known for all through his cricketing career.
The last time Tendulkar was seen in action in competitive cricket was in the 2022 Road Safety World Series final in Raipur where he was bowled for a golden duck by Nuwan Kulasekara.
