Watch: Australia all-rounder Cameron Green took an incredible reflex catch to send back Rishabh Pant on the third day of the Brisbane Test between Australia and India.
India steadily kept losing wickets throughout the day, despite a couple of good starts from their batsmen, including Pant. When the left-hander reached the crease, the team had slipped to 144-4, after which he was involved in brief partnerships with Mayank Agarwal and Washington Sundar.
Pant had scored 23 runs off his first 28 balls, when a short delivery from Josh Hazlewood on the off stump invited him into trying an audacious stroke. He tried to ride the bounce and cut the ball over the slip cordon, but failed to get any elevation on it.
The ball flew off the bat towards gully, where Cameron Green took an incredible reflex catch, instantly crouching to complete the grab it at head height to send Pant back. “Rishabh Pant took the bait,” said the on-air commentator.
It turned out to be another instance of Pant failing to capitalise on a good start: before his 97 in the previous innings, his previous nine Test scores were all between 4 and 36.

Cameron Green said he's never been a gully fielder … well, he's not getting out of there any time soon!
