Watch: Ravindra Jadeja got one to take off sharply from a footmark and dismissed his namesake Rachin Ravindra during day three of the India-New Zealand Test in Kanpur.

New Zealand’s slide continued as they lost their sixth wicket on the third day of the first Test at Green Park in the form of the debutant. After getting off to a brilliant start, having been 151-0 at one stage, they lost their next six wickets for 90 runs. The last man to get out in this sequence was the left-handed Rachin.

Jadeja got a delivery to land in the footmarks, and it took a sharp turn towards the batter’s stumps. Rachin had opened the bat towards the covers, and the ball managed to go through the pads and the bat. The bails came off as the stumps were shattered. Rachin had to walk back for a 13.
