The game at Mackey Park had to be suspended after players were seen engaging in an ugly coming together. The incident reportedly occurred after the batsman was angered by the number of bouncers being bowled at him.
Amateur footage from the sidelines showed players engaging in a tussle on the pitch, with the umpire helplessly watching the drama unfold as the majority of the players on the field were drawn towards the action.
The online scoreboard shows the Chargers on 116-7 in 40 overs in response to Sultans’ score of 200 in 57.4 overs.
