Watch: The India team celebrated their historic win against South Africa at Centurion on Thursday with a jubilant dance involving players and members of the support staff.

The Virat Kohli-led side capped off a memorable 2021 following a clinical win against South Africa in the first Test of the series. The year that saw India win in Australia and take a series lead in England ended on the perfect high as they defeated the Proteas by 113 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. What made the win even more special was that it was India’s only fourth win in the country, and also the first time an Asiam team has defeated South Africa at Centurion.

The occasion was celebrated by the entire cricket team, with Cheteshwar Pujara, R Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, and captain Virat Kohli joined by head coach Rahul Dravid as they indulged in some post-match fun, which also involved dancing. Noticeably, Pujara, who was trolled for his dancing skills following India’s win in Australia in 2018/19, seems to be the most improved dancer in the side.
