A heartwarming act of kindness from Navdeep Saini won him plenty of fans, after he peeled a banana to help India teammate Ravindra Jadeja, who had broken his thumb batting in the first innings at the SCG.
An eagle-eyed cameraman captured the touching moment, with the 7 Cricket commentators if Jadeja had initially missed his chance for a snack with the banana carrier having moved on.
Instead, the all-rounder had simply passed his portion to Saini, who peeled it without fuss and passed it back.
Jadeja will miss the final Test of the series due to the injury, but will need all the energy he can muster if he is called upon to bat, despite his ailment, as India desperately try and snatch a draw to keep the series level.
