Watch: Katherine Brunt bowls an unplayable delivery with the new ball

With the very first delivery after England took the new ball in their one-off Test match against India, Katherine Brunt sent down a ‘jaffa’ to dismiss Pooja Vastrakar.

Brunt displayed her skills yet again as she bowled an unplayable delivery in the 81st over of the Indian innings, which would have troubled even the best batters in the world.

Bowling with the perfect seam position, the ball first angled in from over the wicket before it pitched around leg stump. It hooped away sharply to remove the bail on top of the off-stump — with the commentators terming the beauty as the “ball of the Test match.”

Vastrakar was dismissed for 12 off 33 deliveries as India slipped deeper into trouble.
