Watch: Jasprit Bumrah delivered the perfect delivery to get rid off the set Rassie van der Dussen in India’s win over South Africa at Centurion.

Chasing an unlikely 305, South Africa batted with determination in their second innings, occasionally looking capable of reaching the target. One such point was when they were 74-2 after 36 overs with Dean Elgar and van der Dussen well set at the crease. Another hour or so of Elgar and van der Dussen in the middle would have made the target look much more achievable. However, the Gujarat pacer had other plans.

Bumrah delivered one which landed outside off but came in sharply and flicked off Rassie van der Dussen’s off-stump bail. This blow at a crucial stage of the game reaffirmed India’s position of dominance. Soon after, Bumrah delivered another wicket in the form of Keshav Maharaj. These two wickets late on day four ensured that India were in the best possible position to win the game. They went on to beat South Africa by 113 runs.
