Watch: On his red-ball return, Ishan Kishan took a stellar diving catch on the leg side during a Buchi Babu tournament match between Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.
Kishan’s terrific glovework was one of the highlights of Jharkhand’s first match of the Buchi Babu tournament. He took three outstanding catches, among which the most striking was the one he grabbed on the leg side off Viekanand Tiwary’s bowling to dismiss Ramveer Gurjar for a 31-ball six.
Gurjar flicked a ball from Tiwary, which was angling down the leg, but couldn't manage to get enough bat on it. Kishan needed no second invitation, taking a few steps to his left and hurling his body in the air before pouching a sensational catch.
He also led Jharkhand’s charge with the bat with an 86-ball hundred, taking them to 277-7 in reply to Madhya Pradesh’s 225. at the end of day two's play.
