Watch: As the third T20I between India and West Indies at Kolkata entered its business end, Harshal Patel delivered a stunning slower ball to get the better of West Indies all-rounder Roston Chase.
West Indies got off to a quick start in pursuit of India’s 184, but kept losing wickets even as Nicholas Pooran held firm at one end. Chase arrived in the 11th over and upped the West Indies run-rate with some quick runs. He tried to do they same against Harshal Patel but wasn’t able to get going.
Off the fifth ball of the over, he received a full, dipping off-cutter. The batter seemed to be in two minds as his feet didn’t move and he tried to dead bat the ball. However, he missed the slower one and ended up being bowled.
Harsha Bhogle, on-air, said: “Oh beautiful! This is absolute class from Harshal Patel.”
