While India registered a below-par total of 124 in the game, Pandya was one of three players to score in double figures. He smacked just one four and one six in the innings, but both were excellent shots.
The four, in particular, was a brilliant ramp shot off Stokes. The ball wasn’t too short but it was quick, which is why Pandya had to go down quickly to guide it over the keeper’s head. Due to the quick movement, he fell flat on his back after executing the shot.
In a cheeky moment, he also winked at non-striker Shreyas Iyer after the boundary.
