Watch: Ben Stokes took a stunning catch at first slip to end India’s first innings in the opening Test at Chennai.
With England looking to wrap up the hosts’ reply in the morning session of day four, James Anderson managed to find Jasprit Bumrah’s outside-edge when India were nine down.
There to complete the dismissal was Stokes who flew to his right to pluck out a low one-handed catch.
“What a quite brilliant catch by that man – probably the only player on the pitch that could’ve caught it,” said Nick Knight on commentary.
