“I’m actually quite good at doing handstands,” Ben Stokes told the BBC in 2019. That certainly looked the case on day three of England’s second Test with India at Chennai.
While England tried to bowl out India in the hosts’ second innings, Stokes was caught showing off his acrobatics in the field by the television cameras.

It’s not the first time he’s done a handstand in a Test match, strangely. Against the West Indies in 2019, he performed the stunt in the slip cordon during a break in play. “I’ve got no idea why I did it,” he later said. He was at it again later that year, too, captured doing one against New Zealand.
“That’s my moment of the series!” 😵
Forget Holder’s double ton and Wood’s fiery spell – @RobKey612 has been bowled over by @BenStokes38‘s handstand!
