Watch: Asif Ali smashed four consecutive sixes off Haris Rauf in today’s T10 exhibition match between Pakistan Cricket Board XI and Lahore Qalandar XI at Narowal Sports Complex.

PCB XI won the toss and opted to bat first in this exhibition match. The two openers, Kamran Akmal and Ali Imran, started strong, hitting 29 in the first two overs. However, three quick wickets left PCB XI at 45-3 after 4.2 overs.

Asif then formed a strong partnership with Khushdil Shah to take the total to 73 after eight overs. It was in Rauf’s second over that Asif shifted through the gears and hit four back to back sixes off the Qalandars captain.

Asif finished on 62 in 26 balls, helping the PCB XI to a total of 119. Qalandars chased this total down with some ease as they registered a 10-wicket victory in eight overs. Fakhar Zaman and Tahir Baig made the perfect start added 50 runs in the first four overs, most of the runs came from Baig.

Fakhar targeted leg-spinner Usman Qadir, hitting him for three consecutive sixes in the fifth over. Two overs later, he brought up his half century in just 20 balls. Fakhar finished unbeaten on 68 off 23 deliveries, while Baig finished not out on 51 from 22 balls.
