Watch: Anrich Nortje clean-bowled Tristan Stubbs with a 151kph (93.8mph) delivery in the SA20 in Pretoria Capitals win over Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

The South Africa quick showed exactly why he is rated as one of the fastest in the world game in a rapid spell, taking 2-18 in his four overs.

His clash with Stubbs was a high-stakes one, with the Sunrisers Eastern Cape No.5 one of the country’s most exciting young talents, and one of the competition’s premium players. He held his side’s last hopes of victory, which looked almost done when they slipped to 36-3 after eight overs, chasing 191 to win.

Stubbs mounted a mini-fightback, smashing six and four off Adil Rashid’s first two overs, and another six off Jimmy Neesham. When the first ball of Nortje’s over was clipped for four, he had raced to 23 off 10. That was where his innings ended, however, Nortje going full, fast and straight and clattering into the stumps.

Pretoria Capitals went on to secure victory by 23 runs. With each team having played once, MI Cape Town, favourites in the SA20 betting, are top.
