Watch: James Anderson took a full-length diving catch at mid-on to send back Shubman Gill, who was looking in good touch in the first India-England Test at Chepauk.
After England piled on the runs in the first innings, Jofra Archer dismissed Rohit Sharma with a leg-cutter to give England an early advantage.
Shubman Gill, who had looked at ease at the crease, was joined by Cheteshwar Pujara and the two appeared to be getting into the groove when Archer struck again. A full-length delivery had Gill dismissed, with an on-drive that ballooned off the bat to mid-on.
James Anderson, positioned slightly wide off mid-on, rushed in, put in a full length dive and completed a brilliant catch and give England their second wicket before lunch.
