Watch: Nepal debutant Mohammad Aadil Alam smashed a spectacular helicopter shot during his 11-ball 31 against Papua New Guinea.
Alam hit the shot in 19th over of Nepal’s innings. By then, the side had already reached a formidable 184-3. He moved across his stumps against PNG’s Nosaina Pokana and sent the ball beyond the boundary ropes with a well-connected helicopter shot.
Nepal ended up posting 203-7, a total that proved more than enough. PNG were bowled out for 166, with Nepal’s Karan KC taking 5-21.
Nepal have won three out of three games in the T20I tri-series, also involving Malaysia, with today’s victory guaranteeing them a place in the final on Monday, April 4.
