The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021, the latest edition of the limited-overs domestic competition in India, is set to begin on February 20 – here are the TV and live streaming details for the tournament.
After the BCCI scrapped Ranji Trophy in a season afflicted by the Covid-19 pandemic, there was increased impetus on hosting the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy to resume domestic cricket in India. After the successfully operated 20-over tournament, eyes will now be on VHT 2021, which will run until March 14.
The teams have been divided into six groups – A, B, C, D, E (Elite) as well as the Plate. The Elite groups has six teams each, while the Plate group has eight. The league phase of the tournament will run till March 1, after which the knockout matches will begin.
Prominent players such as Krunal Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Dinesh Karthik will be part of the competition that will feature a host of upcoming youngsters in domestic cricket.
