Dindigul Dragons lifted their maiden Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) trophy after beating Lyca Kovai Kings comfortably in the final on Sunday (August 4) - Here is the list of award winners of TNPL 2024.

Dindigul Dragons captain R Ashwin had a brilliant all-round tournament. During the summit clash, he conceded only 13 runs off his four overs to restrict the Kovai Kings to 129-7 before scoring a fifty (46-ball 52) – third on the trot – to guide his team to an easy victory with 10 balls and six wickets remaining. He was the Player of the Match in the final and won the season’s award for the best all-rounder in the competition.

Across eight seasons, Chepauk Super Gillies are the most successful side in the tournament, having won the trophy in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022, the only time they shared the title with the Kings due to a washout.

The Kings also won in 2023, making them the next-best side in the tournament. The Dragons now join Siechem Madurai Panthers and defunct Tuti Patriots as the other titleholders.
