The player draft for the 2025 Hundred will take place on Wednesday, March 12, with all players available for selection now confirmed. Here are the Pakistan players who could feature in the competition.
Eight teams across both the men's and women's competitions will complete their squad in the draft. Each team has already confirmed their retentions, with no Pakistan players among them. However, 44 players from Pakistan will be available for the teams to select from in the men's draft, as well as five in the women's draft.
Among those names is Naseem Shah, who was set to feature for Birmingham Phoenix in last year's competition but withdrew when the PCB's NOC policy changed. He was replaced by Tim Southee. Shahid Afridi, who has not put his name forward for the draft this year, was meant to play for Welsh Fire, but withdrew after he was unable to get an NOC. However, Usama Mir, Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim were all part of squads in last year's edition, and will all be part of the draft this time round as well.
Saim Ayub has also entered the draft at a reserve price of £78,500, while Shadab Khan, Hassan Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Zaman Khan and Mir have all set their reserve price at £63,000. Naseem is alone among Pakistan players who have set their reserve price in the highest bracket of £120,000.
Pakistan women's captain Fatima Sana Khan will also be a part of the draft. She has set her reserve price at £16,000, while Aliya Riaz has set her reserve price the highest among Pakistan women's players at £20,000.
