Squads for the 2025 SA20 tournament were announced this week, with several English players set to take part in the league.
Next year's SA20 will take place from January 9 to February 8, with six teams once again set to contest the trophy. While most of the tournament will not clash with England international fixtures, the second half of the tournament will overlap with with a T20I tour of India.
Nevertheless, several marquee England players have signed deals to take part in the competition, including Chris Woakes, Will Jacks and Jonny Bairstow. It's been reported that Ben Stokes is set to sign a deal with MI Cape Town, however, that has not been reflected in their official squad yet.
Several English players have also been retained from last year's edition, including Jacks and Tom Abell. Jacks scored 245 runs at a strike rate of 180.14 in the 2024 tournament, including 101 from 42 balls against Durban Super Giants.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape lifted the trophy for a second time in a row in 2024. They've signed English players Zak Crawley and Craig Overton.
