The winner of a remarkable prize for cricket clubs has been announced.
This summer, wisden.com gave cricket clubs the chance to win a PV/MATCH camera system worth at least £1,800, and the overall winner is Tamworth CC.
We asked you to tweet a photo of a shot, delivery or catch from an amateur match to @WisdenCricket and @PitchVision including the hashtag #PVMatch, and picked out three weekly winners in the final month of the season. Each weekly winner received a subscription to Wisden Cricket Monthly magazine and was put forward for the overall PitchVision prize.
Tamworth CC, whose full entry – a stunning shot of a terrific caught-and-bowled by Stuart Burrows – is below, were selected to receive the system.
PV/MATCH is a new scoring technology which allows clubs to stream live games, score, plot wagon wheels, provide detailed line and length pitch maps, use analytical and annotation tools, and promote matches on social media at the push of a button.
