The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021, India’s premier domestic T20 competition got underway on Sunday, January 10: here’s everything you need to know about the match start times, TV channels and live streaming.
The 38 teams, divided into six groups will compete in the three-week-long competition across six biosecure venues, with the final to be played at Ahmedabad’s newly constructed Motera Stadium on January 31. Here’s the complete schedule for the competition and the complete list of the squads.
A number of prominent Indian players such as Suresh Raina, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Dinesh Karthik are featuring in the tournament, along with young batch featuring the likes of Priyam Garg and Ravi Bishnoi, among others. The competition was originally supposed to be held in December 2020, but had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 situation in India. The knockout stages will begin from January 26.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021: Start times
The matches will be played across two time slots – 12pm IST, 6:30am GMT and 7pm IST, 1:30pm GMT. Each day will have 9-10 matches being played, the majority of which will be in the first time slot.
