With the coronavirus having brought life as we know it to a standstill, Ben Stokes has a guide for parents trying to cope with their children’s school activities being confined to their homes.

In the schedule, which Stokes put out on Instagram, the England all-rounder has a line of activities listed through the day, complete with timings and intervals.

Essentially, it’s a timetable to keep homebound children engaged through the day, with a mix of lessons, creative activities, games, physical activities, recreation and meals, all the way up to bedtime.

@clarey11 [Clare, Stokes’ wife] keeping our kids up to date with school work and physical activities whilst school’s are closed…hope this helps any parents who feel a bit stuck with what to do through these tough times,” Stokes wrote in a caption accompanying the photo.

The coronavirus has forced a shutdown of major activities and public places across England and the rest of the world. Companies the world over have directed their employees to work from home, while all tutoring has been moved to the virtual space.
