The first match will be played from September 18 to 23, followed by the second between September 26 and 30. Galle International Stadium will host the entire series, with matches starting from 10 am local time.

Sri Lanka are coming into the series after a memorable overseas victory against England at The Oval. Dhanananjaya de Silva will captain their 16-member squad. Oshada Fernando has replaced Nishan Madushka, who managed only 24 runs in his four innings in England. Kasun Rajitha and Nisala Tharaka have also been omitted.
