January 2023
A white-ball series against India starts off the year for Sri Lanka as they go on tour for three ODIs and three T20Is.
Sri Lanka v Afghanistan (home)
February 2023
A reverse of the November ODI series as Sri Lanka host Afghanistan for a further three ODIs.
New Zealand v Sri Lanka (away)
February – March 2023
A rare mixed tour in the modern day as Sri Lanka travel to New Zealand for both red-and-white-ball matches. Two Tests are accompanied by three ODIs and three T20Is.
Sri Lanka v Ireland (home)
April 2023
An historic series as Ireland travel to Sri Lanka for the first time to play a one-off Test and two ODIs.
Sri Lanka v Pakistan (home)
July 2023
Sri Lanka have a two month break in the year before Pakistan visit for two Tests.
Asia Cup 2023
September 2023
To be held in Pakistan, Sri Lanka will be looking to defend their crown after winning the 2022 edition.
ODI World Cup 2023
October – November 2023
The ODI World Cup will be held in India.
