New Zealand Women will be playing their first ODI series since December last year when they won 1-0 against Bangladesh. In fact, this is the first time they will be seen in any international action since the Women’s T20 World Cup in February.
For Sri Lanka Women, this will be their second home series in the last month and a half. They won a three-match ODI series 1-0 and a three-match T20I series 2-1 against Bangladesh in May 2023.

The ODI series will be a part of the 2022-2025 Women’s Championship, the qualification tournament for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup.
New Zealand currently have three wins from six games and are third on the table while Sri Lanka are languishing at the seventh spot with just two wins out of nine games.
Sri Lanka Women vs New Zealand Women 2023, ODI & T20I Squads
New Zealand will be led by their regular skipper Sophie Devine. Isabella Gaze and Rosemary Mair have returned to the ODI squad from injuries, while Lauren Down and Hayley Jansen will miss out.
Sri Lanka will be led by Chamari Athapaththu in the ODI series. The squad for the T20Is hasn’t been announced yet.

SL W vs NZ W 2023, ODI & T20I schedule: Full fixtures list and match timings
The ODI series will be played first, between June 27 and July 3, with all matches at the Galle International Stadium.
It will be followed by the three-match T20I series between July 8 and 12. The T20Is will be played at the P Sara Oval in Colombo.
All six games are supposed to start at 10 am local time.
